At bHosted it is possible to register multiple domain names simultaneously within the same hosting package. This can be done directly when purchasing the hosting package, or later when the need arises for new domain names.
The configuration of the multiple domains is flexible:
Separated from each other with separate websites and mailboxes
Domain name with aliases and shared mailboxes
By default, the domain names are set up completely separated from each other, but upon request the variant with a domain name with aliases is also possible. A common example of the latter is that a company has registered the domain companyname.com, and points companyname.nl, companyname.eu, etc. to this domain.
In the case of an alias, the mail sent to the alias domain can also be delivered to the same mailboxes as the main domain. This is efficient and easier to maintain. Only 1 set of mailboxes needs to be maintained.
Of course, it is also possible to have a combination of the above set up by the helpdesk.
